Markets got a makeover (and it's more than just looks) 🎨

1. Enhanced results experience

  1. Market map and chat are now available directly on results pages for faster organization filtering.

  2. See which search created each organization in a market - no more guessing where your organizations came from. (note: this is applicable to any new markets that you create moving forward)

Hide duplicates.

Finally, introducing “Hide duplicates“ functionality — a highly requested feature that let’s you hide results that are just redirects to the same URL from your results, giving you a much more accurate picture of organizations matching your search. Bug fixes

  1. Fixed the unable to click locations in the location filter bug.

A new way to search.

New features

  1. Search by description: Introduced smart search capability allowing users to describe companies they're looking for instead of relying solely on keywords. Simply enter descriptions like "Quantum computing companies" or "Quantencomputing-Unternehmen, die KI nutzen" to find relevant organizations.

  2. Organization-specific filters: Added new detailed filtering options under the "Org. specific" category, including:

    • Business Type filters (B2B, B2C, B2G, Others)

    • Organization Size filters (0-10, 11-50, 51-250, 250+ employees)

    • Organization Type filters (Company, Public, Academic, Other)

Interface improvements

  1. Streamlined column display: Reduced default visible columns to minimize clutter, focusing on essential information (Name, Summary, Address, Country, etc.). Additional columns like State, Region, contact details can still be enabled via column settings (“Re-arrange columns“).

  2. Complete profile access: All organization information remains accessible in the view profile section, ensuring no data is lost despite the streamlined default view.

  3. Minor UI improvements and bug fixes, especially related to keywords and reference errors faced by some users.

ISTARI Markets (formerly webAI platform) -- Alpha launch

Overview

ISTARI Markets (formerly webAI platform) is now available in alpha version. The goal of the platform is to offer deep market intelligence capabilities like the ability to extract strategic insights about different sectors and regions. This release introduces a complete redesign of the platform with enhanced features and improved user experience.

New/ enhanced features

1. Search capabilities

  • Advanced search options: Implemented keyword, similarity, and hybrid search functionality.

  • Location filtering: Users can now narrow search results by geographic location.

  • Search history: Save searches for future reference and quick access.

2. Data & AI integration

  • Enhanced data: Platform now utilizes the new data with LLM-enriched columns.

  • AI column creation: Users can generate custom AI columns using:

    • QnA functionality for answering specific questions.

    • Category functionality for classification and organization.

3. Market management

  • Create markets: Users can build and customize their own markets.

  • Saved markets: All user-created markets are automatically saved and accessible.

4. Data export

  • Multiple formats: Export search results in CSV or Excel format.

  • Customizable exports: Select which data to include in exports.
